The sissig is out of this world…super crispy, super flavorful … had it over garlic rice. It was so good that I had to order another one to go. The beehon-omg so good. They use thick rice noodles instead of the thin ones. The flavor is so deep. Still dreaming about this place. The staff is super nice! Atmosphere very casual and homey.

A Note from Mama Fina's: Mama Fina's has been proudly serving our community since 2004. Through every challenge (including the hardships of the pandemic) we have remained committed to quality, authenticity, and our customers. While we welcome honest, constructive feedback, we feel it is important to address a few recent reviews that misrepresent our restaurant and our team. Response to Junel Abr: "They raise their prices drastically and the serving got way more lesser..." We understand that price increases can be frustrating, and we appreciate your loyalty over the years. However, the reality is that the cost of ingredients, utilities, and fair wages for our staff has risen significantly across the entire food industry. Mama Fina's is not immune to that. Our portion sizes have remained consistent. We remain committed to providing value and will continue doing our best to keep our food accessible to our community. Response to Shanej Regoyale: "MEDIOCRE FOOD THATS HIGHLY OVERPRICED..." We'd like to address a few points. First, the photo included in your review actually shows a generous portion of chicken and it appears the dish had already been partially eaten before the photo was

MEDIOCRE FOOD THATS HIGHLY OVERPRICED. They charge $10 for a small chicken curry, that’s has barely any chicken in it, it was tiny shredded meat parts, seems like scraps of chicken breast, and mostly just soup and potatoes. Also super bland, and doesn’t taste like the Philippines chicken curry, it’s dark red in color, instead of the rich yellow color Philippines chicken curry is known for. Their cook in the kitchen is some Hispanic lady, I saw her come out one time. This must be why their food no longer tastes the same, and they give awful scrap parts. The rest of our order is okay, the sisig was crispy, the crispy pasta was falling apart and dry in texture. ONLY THEIR SISIG ARE GOOD HERE. All other food they serve are sub par, not close to what they should taste like, and really crappy dry over cooked texture to chicken, or tough, chewy, not well cooked beef.

Went around 930 am sunday with my family when it was empty. Ordered the lumpia, crispy pork belly, sigsig, karekare and 3 garlic rice. 6 small lumpia.. fine, at least they were good. Crispy pork belly came hot outside but cold center. Sigsig was good. Karekare was $30 and it came with 2 large oxtail and 2 tiny oxtail. I felt ripped off. The bowl contained mostly sauce. I told the workers and they did nothing nor did they care.

The Garden State’s diverse culinary landscape wouldn’t be complete without the cuisine of the Philippines, especially as the state’s growing Filipino population now tops 118,000 residents. Pinoy dishes, a blended product of Spanish, Chinese, American, and local Filipino culinary influences, are finally being recognized in the U.S. for their diversity and ingenuity, something that culinary experts have been predicting for years. One may also notice some establishments have grocery sections or mini markets in them, which I visited today for lunch. Located inside Casa Delfina on Main Street in the heart of Hackensack, Mama Fina was named one of the best restaurants for Filipino cuisine in 2025 according to nj.com. Upon arrival as a first timer inside their cozy clean but un-air conditioned store where outside temps was in the lower 90s, I went to the front counter with the food menu where patrons would place their order for inside dining or takeout. They’ll assign a table where I sat at the beginning where they start. Their menu is known for the sisig which comes from family recipe, tapsilog, and palabok, to name a few as well as desserts, shakes, smoothies and slushies. Eager
